Ion chromatography was used. The separation was carried out on a Dionex IonPac AS18 column (250 mm × 4 mm) with 0.022 mol/L KOH as mobile phase. The injection volume was 10 μL at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The temperature of column was set at 30 ℃. Conductivity detector with temperature of detector cell 35 ℃ was used. Dionex ASRS 300 (4 mm) was used as suppressor.Results There was good separation between CO32- and Cl-, NO2-, NO3-, and SO42-. The standard curve was rectilinear in the range of 10 — 120 μg/mL (r=0.999 0). The average recovery was 102.1% with RSD value of 3.7% (n = 9). Conclusion This method is accurate, simple, and selective which could be used for the determination of the residual of carbonate in potassium sodium dehydroandroan drographolide succinate."/>
