天芪膠囊以1．0、2．0g／kg給大鼠灌胃給藥,連續(xù)14d.結果表明,天芪膠囊對正常大鼠血糖及血清胰島素含量均無明顯影響,但對四氧嘧啶或鏈脲霉素引起高血糖大鼠的血糖具有非常明顯的降低作用,同時對四氧嘧啶大鼠的血清胰島素含量、總膽固醇、甘油三酯及血液粘度皆有降低作用.可認為天芪膠囊降糖作用與刺激胰島素β細胞釋放胰島素有關.

Rats were pretreated po with 1.0 g/kg and 2. 0 g/kg of Tianqi capsule once daily for 14 days respectively. Results showed that the capsule did not affect the blood sugar and serum insulin levels in normal rat,butsingnificantly lowered the blood sugar,serum,insulin,total cholesterol,triglyceride and blood viscosity of hyperglycemic rats induced by alloxan or streptozotocin. These results indicated that the hypoglycaemic action ofTianqi capsule may be related to its stimulating effect on件cells of the islets in the secretion of insulin.
