從陜西草藥羊紅膻Pimpinella thellungiana全草的正丁醇部分分得一個環(huán)乙烯類化合物（Ⅰ）和一個環(huán)乙醇類化合物（Ⅱ），經(jīng)化學及光譜分析鑒定Ⅰ為3，4，5-trihydroxy-1-cyclohexene-1-carboxylicacid，即莽草酸（shikimicacid），Ⅱ為1-butyl-3，4，5-trihydroxy-cyclohexanol。Ⅰ為從該植物中首次得到，Ⅱ為一新化合物，定名為羊紅膻醇（thellungianol）。

A new cyclohexanol derivative was isolated from the n-butanol extract of the whole plant of Pimpinella thellungiana Walff.. Its structure was elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis(UV,IR, MS,¹H,¹³C NMR，DEPT and¹H-¹H 2 D-COSY) as 1-butyl-3, 4, 5-trihydroxy-cyclohexanol(Ⅱ).Another known organic acid，shikimic acid(I) was isolated for the first time from this fraction.
