小鼠肝細胞接受不同劑量的紫外線照射后,線粒體的結構和功能受到不同程度的損傷,而且具有明顯的劑量效應,這種損傷主要表現在脂質過氧化程度增大以及由此導致的線粒體膜流動性下降和細胞色素C氧化酶(CCO)活力的降低。從銀杏葉中提取的槲皮素黃酮苷類可以顯著抑制線粒體的這種變化,從而保護紫外線引起的線粒體的結構和功能的損傷。

When mouse liver cells were irradiated with different doses of UV radiation, the structures and functions of cell mitochondria were found to be effected, dose dependently, to varies degrees. The effects mainly resulted in an increase of degree of lipid peroxidation, and a decrease of the fluidity of mitochondrial membrane and the activity of cytochrome C oxidase. Quercitrin, extracted from the leaves of Ginkgo biloba L. showed a marked protective effect on the function of mitochondria before incubating with UV irradiation.
