A systematic pharmacognostical study on 4 species of Desmos Lour.in our country was carried out by literature retrieval,field investigation,sample collection and examination of specimens deposited in various herbariums for plant taxonomic research,to give a clear picture of the distribution and reserves of Desmos Lour in order to provide a scientific basis for the exploitation of Desmos Lour.
